How Virkla Works
Virkla structures the full hiring cycle into four connected stages: attract and source, screen and score, evaluate and collaborate, then decide and improve. Each stage has dedicated tooling, and the entire process runs in a single platform — no context switching, no lost data, no disconnected spreadsheets.
Stage 1 — Attract and source
Everything starts with a well-defined role. In Virkla, recruiters create job postings with structured fields for requirements, evaluation criteria, and interview stage configuration. The fair hiring workflow scans the posting for exclusionary or gendered language before it goes live — so more qualified candidates see a role that speaks to them.
- Create structured job postings with requirements and scoring criteria
- Run language analysis on job descriptions before publishing
- Publish to job boards and career sites via integrated distribution
- Configure pipeline stages, ownership, and team access per role
Stage 2 — Screen and score
When applications arrive, AI Score Matching ranks candidates against the role criteria defined during job creation. Open any candidate for the "Why this score" breakdown: matched skills, missing skills, the main gap, and the evidence line from the profile. Recruiters see a prioritised list — not a raw inbox. Optional blind CV mode anonymises names and photos during early screening.
- AI-ranked candidate list based on role-specific fit criteria
- "Why this score" on every application — evidence, not a black-box number
- Optional blind CV mode for anonymised early screening
- Candidate timeline tracks every status change and recruiter action
Stage 3 — Evaluate and collaborate
Internal notes and team feedback sit on the same candidate timeline as the AI score. Interviewers add structured notes in the workspace; hiring managers see the conversation and the recorded human decision — not a scattered inbox thread. Role-based evaluation scorecards are on the product roadmap.
- Team notes and interview feedback on the candidate timeline
- The AI score and the human decision stay on the same record
- Hiring managers see context without chasing chat and docs
- Structured evaluation scorecards: on the roadmap, included in your plan when released
Stage 4 — Decide and improve
The hiring call is recorded on the application: AI recommendation, recruiter decision, notes, and any override — a complete decision history for audit and review. Across the pipeline, Virkla also surfaces time-to-hire by stage, funnel conversion, and source quality so operations can see where candidates stall.
